December 21, 2019, 19h - late

You are warmly invited to the publication launch of The Society for Matriarchal World Domination, 7 pm / open end at Broken Dimanche Press, Oranienplatz 2.

One blue back paper at a time, the Society for Matriarchal World Domination has been flyposting for the end of the patriarchy: artists and writers from diverse backgrounds collaborated to conceive posters that appeared on the streets of Berlin every full moon over the course of the last year. On Saturday all of the posters will be on view (and for sale) together, along with the accompanying publication published by Broken Dimanche Press and riso-printed at Colorama with essays by Eva Wilson and Cecilia Valenti. Come early for readings by the authors, stay late for festive feminist toasts to - according to your assessment and mood - the fall of the patriarchy / the end of the year / the end of the world.

The Society for Matriarchal World Domination was founded by Zoë Claire Miller and Mira Starke. Participants: Bini Adamczak, Julieta Aranda, Vela Arbutina, Sharmila Banerjee, Candice Breitz, Zuzanna Czebatul, Selin Deval, Die Römischen Votzen, Molly Dyson, Lena Marie Emrich, Aisha Franz, Nina Franz, Anna Gien, Gabriele Kachold-Stötzer, Marlene Stark, Luci Lippard, Chus Martínez, Peaches, Viva Ruiz.
