As a press committed to pluralistic social-democracy since our very beginning, and in light of an abnormal political year, we held an open call for people to submit word poem slogans to be made into official BDP t-shirts. The three resulting t-shirts that have been chosen are all based on submissions by three exceptional artists we are delighted to work with. Poignant, poetical, playful and deeply important, each in their own turn offer ways of seeing the world anew, with hope and optimism. All proceeds will go to The Jo Cox Foundation.

We had a terrific response and we would like to thank all of those who submitted work. A selection committee comprising artist Stine Marie Jacobsen, BDP editor Ida Bencke and designer Beata Niedhart chose three anonymous submissions which we have been made into t-shirts.

The t-shirts were made in collaboration with our partners FUK Graphic Design Studio, Berlin and will be debuted this weekend at Friends with Books: Art Book Fair Berlin in the Hamburger Bahnhof Dec 9-12.
